WILL YOU HELP US
REDUCE THE DIGITAL GAP IN ISRAEL?
Since the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic, the nation of Israel has spent more time in lockdown than any other country! As a result of the near-constant closures, our education system has taken a hard hit, and our children are paying the price …
Out of 1.8 million students in Israel, 375,000 don't have access to distance learning.
Seeing this crisis in education, Joseph Project has teamed up with Mitchashvim, a local non-profit initiative aimed at closing the education gap in Israel. Together, since March 2020, we have collected, refurbished, and distributed over 20,000 computers donated from corporations and individuals across the country.
Our shared goal is to distribute 100,000 computers for the use of education. We need your help to keep this project going for the next six months!
For every month of operation, we are able to collect and donate approximately 500 computers! It is our hope and belief that continuous operation combined with the project's growing network of awareness and support could exponentially increase our impact over this time period, and additional funding will help support the expansion of the program, which will include training and providing paid jobs for hundreds of young adults with disabilities to work in the computer labs as part of the operation.
Unfortunately, the emergency funding needed to finance the logistics of the Mitchashvim Initiative is coming to an end. We need $24,000 to maintain and expand Mitchashvim Initiative's logistical operations.
"Do not withhold good from the deserving when it is within your power to act."
- Proverbs 3:27
Just $25 a month from 160 people can keep this initiative going!
